GERMAN SPEAKER SALES MANAGER- TOURISM
One of our clients leading incoming tour operators and destination management companies who offer a full complement of destination management services is looking for someone with SALES EXPERIENCE IN TOURISM and with high knowledge of GERMAN & ENGLISH languages.
DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES:
-To increase and maintain sales over different markets (the role will be involved a large amount of travel both abroad and domestically).
-Preparation of written sales & marketing plans for your markets and implementation of these plans.
-Proactive targeting & researching of new clients.
-Accompanying agents/tour operators on familiarisation trips of Ireland and organising same.
-Send out all quotations to clients that were prepared by the costing department and follow up same.
-Management of all client relationships & main contact point for all clients.
-Assist in the preparation of German language programmes and itineraries.
-Maintain and update a current data base of agents including collecting hard copies or current agent brochures etc.
-Compile information on our competitors.
-Development of new business -E. G: new products.
-Assist with the production of German language Newsletters, ezines, flyers etc.
-Production of monthly sales reports.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Min 2 years of experience in a Sales role.
-Must have Sales experience in the TOURISM/TRAVEL SECTOR.
-Must be fluent in German & English.
-I. T Literate.
-A quickly reaction to a sales leads will be necessary to ensure capture the business.
-some overtime (evening & weekend) will be necessary to complete all the above tasks.
-Willingness and ability to do this is mandatory.
