FRS Recruitment are currently recruiting for a National Account Manager on behalf of an expanding packaging company. This is a full-time permanent role.
This exciting new position offers the opportunity to join a company with product sales in excess of �3bn for 2016. In the last number of years my client has become a leading international manufacturing company servicing the food retail & food processing sector.
Duties
* Deliver proactive account management to a portfolio of key national accounts
* Plan and attend regular update meetings with accounts and S.C.M
* Manage ad-hoc queries and enquiries generated by account portfolio
* Liaise with internal departments to ensure requests are followed up and required information and support are completed in time frames acceptable to the client.
* Manage external and internal expectations
* Develop new relationships with Blue Chip and private label retail manufactures
* Contribute to strategic planning in the selected categories
* Growing the Sales and profitability of the account
* Contribute on a regular basis to internal and external communications
* Develop and manage relationships with key salespeople
* Respond to queries from on specific sales initiatives relevant to their market and clients
* Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy and process consistency.
* Negotiating pricing and commercial terms and contract within the agreeable standards.
* Overseeing the excellent customer service to the account
Candidate profile
* Strong and experienced people manager with strong interpersonal and communication skills
* You will need to demonstrate a track record of achieving profitable product sales growth within demanding large FMCG Ambient / Food product categories. A history of dealing with Blue-chip businesses would be advantageous.
* Commercial sales experience from the food processing sector would be a distinct advantage
* Know who the internal/external customers are and what their expectations are and understand the process in this area
* Know the Labels product, processes and policies
* Have a sound understanding of modern business planning, negotiation, analytical, commercial acumen and influencing skills
* Have organisational and time management skills
* Communicate effectively
* Have a wide range of problem solving techniques
* Behave in a professional manner
* Flexible with regards to travel nationwide
