A leading player in the distribution and logistics industry, our Dublin based client is ranked in the Top 250 companies in Ireland. Their client base spans across a number of industries with a specific focus on telecommunications.
Due to exponential growth, our client is currently recruiting for a Product & Brand Manager to join their marketing team. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
Management of a small team consisting of a Product Specialist, Category Analyst and an Administrator to cover the following key areas:
* Work with brands and marketing to ensure that right collateral is available to drive brand penetration through the sales team
* Develop a brand ambassador programme to aid both key partner brand development and penetration into new and existing channels
* Ability to develop existing and introduce new brands to our portfolio of high-end consumer products
* Deliver comprehensive, exciting and innovative ranging initiatives across a broad spectrum of brands
* Selection of key brand partners that will contribute to company & customer targets
* Management of Brand Partnership Programme
* Set trade pricing
* Negotiate of supplier T&C’s – Payment terms, returns agreements, MDF, SOR, Rebates, Consignment, Listing fees
* Planning & management of promotional activity
* Consolidation of spend through key partner brands
* Management of product training programme
* Management of sales packs (including product catalogues, commercials, finance support, marketing support) to assist sales teams in getting brand partners listed in Irish & UK retailers
* Management of customer quarterly range reviews
* Preparation of responses for new business RFP’s
* Management of company catalogues
* Collaboration with brand partners for deliver retail ready solutions, ie FSDU, CTU, interactive displays to suit customer requirements
* Provide product content for customer advertising campaigns
Essential Skills:
* Minimum 4 years experience in a relevant role
* Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
* Self-motivated
* Work well in teams
* Organised and structured
* Drive and ambition
* Energetic and eager to learn
Desirable Qualifications:
* Degree related to Marketing or Procurement/Purchasing
* Experience in Retail is desirable
* A background in dealing with technical products in telecommunications would be an advantage
* Interest in Technology
* Interest in mobile industry
* Passionate about handling of product
