Sales Executive – Industrial Packaging Products

Our client is a leading specialist distribution and manufacturing group that supplies innovative packaging products to a vast array of sectors. They are now looking for a Sales Executive to join their Industrial Packaging Division.

As a Sales Executive, you’ll be tasked with selling our client’s industrial packaging solutions to customers throughout the Greater Dublin area.
Your role will be split into three separate aspects; sales, customer service and administration. Each element of your role supports the other two and is equally important to your success.
Within the sales aspect, you will work to achieve your sales target for the Dublin area through the identification of opportunities and the development of relationships with potential customers. You will plan and manage your time to achieve the maximum number of sales opportunities, promote and help to develop products and create a comprehensive call plan which maximises the impact on sales.
Working to establish good customer and company relationships, you will visit existing and potential customers to forge robust relationships and ties with senior figures. You will aim to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction are delivered and provide advice on delivery times, products, changes in service or product lines and pricing.
Additionally, you will ensure that your work is documented and paperwork is completed and submitted in an accurate and timely manner. You will advise the management team of any pending sales volumes or orders through your reporting and will make sure you possess the most up-to-date product and price lists.
To be considered, you must have:
- A minimum of two years’ field sales experience in an FMCG environment
- A proven track record of selling both B2B and B2C
Results-driven and determined, as a Sales Executive, you must be a positive team player with great communication skills. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and relationship-building abilities are also key.
