* Sales Specialist - Orthopaedics

The Company:

This well-established Irish healthcare distributor, sell some well-known brands of medical devices and equipment into the healthcare market. This company are a sought after Irish employer, and currently employ hundreds of people in Ireland already. They sell products which are relevant in a variety of different medical disciplines. However, this particular role will focus on the sales of their orthopaedic portfolio.

The Role – Sales Specialist – Orthopaedics:

Territory = Kilkenny, Waterford, Cork

As a Sales Specialist you will be responsible for the sales of Orthopaedic devices, used in surgery for total joint replacement. You will sell into hospitals throughout your region, and spend a large portion of your time in the operating theatre. You will be selling to Orthopaedic surgeons and consultants, as well as theatre managers, nurses and procurement. As this company are well established and this role is covering an existing territory, most of your time will be spent looking after existing accounts and relationships. Although, new business development will be a part of the role.

The candidate:

You will ideally have some exposure to the Orthopaedic discipline, with some exposure to the operating theatre environment. Strong clinical / medical device sales experience (outside of Orthopaedics) will also be considered.

We will also consider healthcare professionals (nurses) who have experience in the Orthopaedic discipline, and would like to break into sales. We are looking for a driven, ambitious and self-motivated individual, with excellent communication and organisational skills.
