Business Telesales Specialist
Key Purpose of the Role:
Eager to build a career in telecom technical sales, our client are looking for driven individuals to sell Voice and a range of Broadband services via incoming and outgoing telephone / e-mail communication to business customers. Full training will be provided.
Principal Responsibilities:
· Pro-active sourcing of new revenue for the business by making outbound calls to new market verticals
· Appointment setting for field sales teams where opportunity exceeds that which can be dealt with over the phone
· Being part of the telesales team taking inbound sales enquiry telephone calls
· Support marketing campaigns by telephone follow up
· Responding to e-mail enquires that are made from potential customers.
· Participate in marketing events to promote the company and source new clients
· Actively contribute to the development of our team culture
· Reporting potential pipeline to Sales Manager on a weekly basis
· Update and maintain all customer contact on the company CRM – Salesforce
· Attendance of regular team meetings
· To carry out all tasks within Company policies and procedures which are updated from time to time
· To continually represent the Company with honesty, integrity, and good presentation
Person Specification:
Essential Skills & Experience (key competencies)
· Technical savvy individual
· Previous sales experience is a distinct advantage
· Experience of using CRM/Salesforce is an advantage
· Ability to meet and exceed sales targets
· Knowledge of Broadband and the competitive market
· Previous experience within telecommunications is a distinct advantage
Skills:
· Team player – working in co-operation with colleagues and local management teams
· Excellent telephone manner
· Confident / Self starter
· Ability to engage with different businesses across a variety of sectors
· PC Literate
