The Company
With over forty decades behind them, this Irish company is enjoying some excellent growth hence their current requirement for a new Key Account Manager in the Leinster area. They sell a full range of electrical products and accessories, including but not limited to motor controls and switch-gear, electrical control products, bus bars and energy saving products. They deal with Electrical contractors, commercial and industrial end users as well as electrical wholesalers.
The Role – Key Account Manager
Looking after the Leinster territory, the successful Key Account Manager will be selling a range of products including but not limited to energy saving lighting, surge protection and speed drives into the Industrial End User market place as well as dealing with M+E contractors. You will sell to facility managers, technical managers and consulting engineers. This role will entail the management of an impressive portfolio of accounts. Sometime spend seeking new business will also be necessary.
For this Key Account Manager role, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
* A strong background in sales, having the ability to generate new business as well as maintain relationships with existing accounts
* Ideally, this person will have exposure selling electrical products
* Sales people with electrical qualifications will also be considered, even if they haven’t sold electrical products
* You must have the technical ability to hold a conversation with technically minded decision makers
