Stores Manager: Transport Industry: Galway - FRS Daniella 086 7750646


* Set up inventory stores systems
* Responsible for preparing and processing all company purchase orders
* Negotiate vendor pricing and discounting
* Operate inventory, management/control system
* Create monthly inventory management reports
* Review purchasing/sourcing processes
* Work closely with all departments to ensure product/parts availability
* Manage vendor returns, customer stocking agreements
* Coordinate physical inventory and cycle counts
* Develop and maintain a professional business rapport with vendors

Skills Required

* A minimum 3 years Purchasing/Inventory control experience preferably in the Road Transport Industry
* Member of the Supply Chain Institute, desirable but not essential
* Qualification in Business/Supply Chain
* Advanced Skills with Microsoft Office
* Strong Verbal and written Communication Skills
* Excellent organizing and problem solving skills
* Ability to work in a team environment and can engage, motivate and work with people
