The Company
Established for 4 decades, this organisation is one of Ireland's leading suppliers of heating, plumbing, bathroom and renewable energy products. With locations nationwide, this organisation supplies the construction and DIY market with a range of brands from domestic as well as international suppliers. As part of their continued growth plans, the company are new looking to recruit a Business Development Manager in the Leinster area.
The Role – Business Development Manager
Territory – Nationwide remit, but the majority of this role will be in the Leinster area.
The successful Business Development Manager will be responsible for selling the companies range of heating and plumbing products into the construction market. You will be selling to main and sub-contracting companies, M+E contractors, as well as dealing with architect and specifiers when necessary. You will sell to senior decision makers within these organisations and you will also be involved in the generation of new business as well as managing existing business.
For this Business Development Manager role, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
* Experience with heating and plumbing products is highly sought after
* You will ideally have experience selling into the construction market
* You must be able to win business with senior level
* Strong commercial acumen
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* You must be driven, ambitious and self-motivated
