Construction Field Sales Rep Job

This role is at Assistant Sales Manager level with a world leading company in the locking systems business.
The Job Brief

Target market
� Hotels - Chief engineers, Security, IT, Key Accounts
� Architects
� Interior Designers
� M&E contractors
� Electrical contractors
� Main contractors
Area to be covered
Ireland (Northern & the Republic).
Remuneration
Negotiable (depending on experience) plus a generous commission (uncapped) paid on every order secured. Realistic OTE €60k plus.

Primary areas of responsibility
� Following up on all leads generated in the area as well as prospecting for business using own initiative
� Targeting the core markets highlighted above during the various phases of the decision making process to ensure that AAH secures the specification and the business
� Working with colleagues where key customers projects cross sales boundaries
� Report on market and competitor activities
� Put together an annual business plan for developing area sales, maintain and report on progress to plan
� Attend quarterly sales meetings
� Ensure that AAH quote for every hotel opportunity in the designated area
� Ensuring that the company's CRM system is kept updated with all project activity

The ideal candidate
� Working in specification sales or an associated industry
� A demonstrable track record in specification sales
� Experience of selling into capital projects with focus on quality not price
� Knowledge of the hotels market would be advantageous but not prerequisite
� Excellent organisation and time management skills
� IT literate and comfortable using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
� Experienced in using CRM systems to track and monitor projects and to report on activity
� Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision
� An aptitude for absorbing technical information
� Self-starter
� Results orientated, determined and enthusiastic
