Our client researches and develops innovative, high quality solutions designed to make diagnostic testing more accurate. They are now on the lookout for a Business Development Manager to join their team.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be tasked with creating sales and promoting our client’s product portfolio throughout the Far East.
Please note, although you will be primarily based in our client’s offices in Crumlin, you will be required to travel to the Far East on a very regular basis.
Specifically, you will seek to create sales of our client’s product portfolio. You will achieve this through regular customer visits, in-depth knowledge of the company’s products and the identification of new market opportunities.
A key element of your role will be to manage the distributor network throughout the Far East.
You will effectively handle customer queries in a timely manner and will attend conference and trade shows as required to enhance the brand’s presence, increase your understanding and effectively network.
Interested? If so, you will need:
- A proven track record in exceeding sales targets
- A degree or higher in a Biochemistry, Chemistry, Life Science or Business related discipline (or equivalent)
- A valid driving licence
Positive and driven, as a Business Development Manager, you will also need plenty of business acumen, a strong work ethic and excellent time management and organisational capabilities. Superb communication and presentation skills will also be key.
Experience of managing a team or distributor networks would be beneficial to your application.
