What Will you Be Doing Once You're In This Microscopy Sales Engineer Job
Promoting and selling a range of electronic microscopes into high tech manufacturing and life science businesses
Travelling to on site meetings with clients
Account managment and technical support to client base
Pre configuration and installation
Working closely with the service department and customer service department to ensure full client satisfaction
Preparation of quotations and tenders, for a broad client base
What Will You Be Like?
You will definitely have:
Experience in sales or suitable experience using microscopes and image
acquisition software. (I'll let you in on a secret, you sales experience can be from working in a shop, while you were studying. What we're looking for here is aptitude and the customer focused, can-do attitude that everyone needs for sales)
Good mechanical aptitude for building systems to match customer needs
Good communication skills.
Must have the ability to work alone and also
as part of a team.
Self-motivating with a drive to succeed
Technical aptitude and a high level of attention to detail
Full driving licence.
The ability to work under pressure within short
Excellent IT skills
Things That Would Be Nice For You To Have
Third Level Qualification in Life Science or Material Science Displine desirable
The candidate should have experience working
in a sales role in the life Science or
Material Science market sectors.
Specific experience in some or all of the following
areas would be beneficial.
Research microscopy in life and or material science, familiarity with image analysis technologies
While sales experience is preferable, candidates with life science/microscopy experience will also be considered
