Job Overview:

A leading agricultural merchant in the Westmeath area is currently recruiting for a Branch Assistant. This is a full time permanent position.

Duties/Responsibilities:

* Processing customer transactions in relation to farm inputs.
* Providing over the counter service to farmers on a daily basis.
* Stock control
* Yard Duties - Loading customers with Meal, Fertiliser, farm imputs
* Technical advice to farmers
* Keeping the shop and yard tidy

Requirements:

* From a farming background
* Good computer skills
* Excellent manner in dealing with people over the phone & in person
* Agricultural degree would be desirable but not essential
* Good attention to deail
