Rapidly growing Design and Manufacturer of Hi Precision hand held and desk top equipment working with major Electronics, Medical Devices and Pharmaceutical companies.

Identifying and establishing new business leads in all of Ireland
• Lead Generation and prospecting. New customer acquisition.
• Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements.
• Negotiating on price, costs, delivery, specifications, and terms and conditions with buyers and managers to meet both client and company needs.
• Preparing proposals, quotations and administering client accounts.
• Performing on site demonstrations, training, pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
• Working on after-sales support services and providing technical back up as required.
• Preparing reports and keeping customer records through Salesforce, analysing costs and sales performance.
• Meeting regular sales targets and coordinating sales projects.
• Supporting marketing activities by attending trade exhibitions, conferences and other marketing events.
• Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product meets client needs.
• Liaising with other members of the sales team and engineering department.
• Assisting in the design of custom-made products.
• Gathering market and customer information.
• Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements.
• Attending regular team meetings and sharing best practice with colleagues.

General:
• Time will be split between the office and visiting clients..
• Travel to and from client companies, trade exhibitions and conferences will extend the working day.
• Trips abroad will be required from time to time to attend trade exhibitions etc.
• On-the-job training will be provided to gain product knowledge.

Requirements:
• Qualification or experience in production engineering for the manufacturing industry or other Engineering and scientific discipline.
• Experience in a commercial and/or sales environment to show you have the necessary skills to accompany the technical knowledge.
• A full driving licence is essential for travelling to various clients.
