SENIOR SALES EXECUTIVES

Lafferty Group (www.lafferty.com) is an international leader in knowledge-based products and services targeted at senior executives in the financial services sector. Specialising in Retail Banking and Cards & Payments, the Group is currently recruiting for Senior Sales Executives to join their expanding sales team in Westport, Co. Mayo

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals, with a track record of success and meeting targets, who can close deals with B2B clients worldwide and is eager to progress their careers in a dynamic and fast-paced environment which changes constantly.

 Job Description:

  • Manage sales process from lead generation to close
  • Drive sales to achieve and exceed sales targets with existing and new clients
  • Targeted prospecting for new business and cold calling potential clients
  • Maintain existing key client relationships
  • Responsible for contract renewals with defined clients
  • Upsell and cross sell to new and existing accounts
  • Accountable for ensuring that the sales pipeline is robust to deliver on sales targets and managing all stages to closing  
  • Update and manage CRM database
  • Accurate and timely sales reporting to management
  • Telesales for specific projects

 Successful Candidate:

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to manage client relationships
  • Natural networker with exceptional commercial acumen
  • Confidence to interact with C Level clients
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding set KPI’s and targets
  • An ability to deal with Customers in an engaging manner, telephone and email interactions will be required.
  • Able to work in fast-paced environment
  • Highly proficient computer skills including Ms Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook

 Requirements:

  • A third-level qualification of equivalent
  • Previous experience in Inside Sales / Telesales – B2B is an advantage
  • Knowledge of CRM systems, preferably Salesforce
  • Flexibility in working hours – our clients are global and time zones must be considered

A strong work ethic, the ability to meet deadlines and good project management skills are essential.
Previous experience in banking/financial services or a related sector is desirable
