Scope
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will help deliver the sales agenda within the Dublin food service area, identifying and growing opportunities in existing and new clients to ensure continued growth. You will be required to work with all functions of the business to ensure a satisfactory operation including service, finance, technical, logistics and marketing teams.
Job Responsibilities
1) To develop the growth of foodservice sales within existing clients using initiative in educating and up selling to clients our entire product range.
2) Identify opportunities to grow business with new clients.
3) Negotiate and agree trading terms within customer & company guidelines.
4) Provide accurate and timely reports of progress and developing issues.
5) Build the strongest customer relationships in the industry by demonstrating competence, integrity, dependability and an excellent understanding of the customer's business
6) Monitor territory performance against targets for key marketing objectives, volume, distribution, credit control, promotional activity. Plan and execute action to correct negative variances
7) Monitor competitor activity. Report to colleagues and take countermeasures as appropriate.
8) Conduct regular reviews of business performance with clients.
9) Developing sales performance and maintaining a proactive and efficient journey plan.
Key Skills Required
Must be Dublin based
Must have food service experience
Must have a proven track record of delivering targets
Exceptional communication social, interpersonal & influencing skills
Highly motivated; you must be able to handle pressure and work at pace and must be brand orientated; be analytical and be able to influence.
Ability to follow through and close out issues
High energy, positive attitude, highly motivated.
Must be computer literate and have excellent administrative skills.
