Background on the opportunity:

PCO Manufacturing are looking for a high-performing Senior Sales individual to join our sales team for a minimum of one year and to assist us in developing our business further through continued customer acquisition, revenue management and company growth objectives.

 

Some background on you:

You will be an experienced sales person with a career spanning areas such as sales support, customer support, account management, business development, sales strategy design as well as team management. This contract role will provide you with the opportunity to join the company and work closely with the Sales Manager for a period of time, understanding customer and product portfolio as well as overall company strategy and departmental goals.

 

You will then take on the role of Sales Manager and have responsibility while the current Sales Manager is on leave and you will have responsibility for the day to day management of a team of 8 employees. This will include duties such as executing all key growth sales strategies, developing action plans required to achieve your financial targets and working with the management team of PCO Manufacturing.

 

Responsibilities

·                Manage, motivate and monitor the team of sales and customer care representatives on the team

·                Implement all necessary company processes and where necessary contribute to the redesign and roll out of areas under review

·                Ensure each individual achieves targets set therefore the ongoing performance management of the team will be essential

·                Own and achieve/exceed company annual sales targets.

·                Contribute to and develop the sales strategy plan for the year ahead as well as implementing the current plan which is designed to achieve sales targets and expand the company’s customer base.

·                Continue to build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.

·                Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.

·                Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.

·                Understand category-specific trends, reporting on forces that effect direction of accounts and customer categories.

You will need the following experience:

·                Be a successful sales professional with 5+ years experience of delivering sales revenue in any sector, preferably the pharmaceutical but a B2B role

·                A minimum of 2 years leading and managing a sales team where you have been a successful motivator and communicator

·                Have the ability to engage and communicate with all functions within the business and contribute to the decision making process by providing relevant and valuable data

·                Be capable of influencing relevant stakeholders internally and externally

·                Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.

·                Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services and position them against competitors.

·                Demonstrable experience in developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions.

·                Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills

·                Excellent verbal and written communications skills

·                BA/BS degree or equivalent
