Masonry Fixings are a leading supplier of technical products to the construction industry. Our well-established business operates in a niche market and will provide a unique opportunity to work with key international brands in the construction industry by providing specialist technical support on our brands and their usage.

 

The position of Customer Service Representative is suited to someone with strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and resolve queries quickly and efficiently. This is an interesting role with ability to assist both internal and external customers in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will need to be self-motivated, mannerly, and proficient in all Microsoft programmes.


 Reporting Manager: Sales Manager, Jim Humphries  


Customer Service:

  • Process all inbound & outbound calls efficiently
  • Provide customer support to both internal & external customers
  • Build & process orders on the internal system in line with agreed KPI’s
  • Adopt a suggestive selling approach to add value to all orders
  • Update all customers on backorder status & delivery dates
  • Provide sales quotations where required to internal & external customers
  • Resolve customer queries, complaints or issues promptly
  • Provide Trade Counter assistance as required
  • Liaise with the sales team to discuss potential sales leads and provide details for same
  • Maintain and develop customer loyalty and support
  • Complete ad hoc administrative duties as required by management
  • Undertake continuous training and development

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Flexible, adaptable and enthusiastic individual with the will to succeed
  • Ability to take ownership and resolve issues
  • Professional and customer focused individual
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills
  • Navision skills desirable but not essential
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
