Key Account Executive - Nationwide

Now, we re looking for a Key Account Executive to join our team. This role will play a key part in the overall growth of the organisation along with helping to maintain our core ethos here are Sysco - keeping the customer at the heart of everything we do.

The role requires a candidate who will be:

An expert in the retail sector with particularly strong knowledge of bakery and its foods. The successful candidate will support the Retail customers of Sysco Ireland. The Key Account Executive will play a critical role in providing retail customers with fresh food advice.

Key Accountabilities:

Training of deli staff in food preparation, cooking, display and portion control across bakery area.

Maintain standards within stores in line with company guidelines

Relationship building and maintaining with customers and internal cross functional departments

Sales maximation through the upselling of all Sysco products and services

Collaborate with key stakeholders within the business

Ability to work on own initiative with good time management

Contribute to regular internal and external forums

Complete reports in a timely manner

Daily customer site visits


A strong food background (preferably with Manager or Supervisory level either Hospitality or Retail)

Full clean B licence with availability to travel nationwide as required

Flexible and adaptable to the changing of requirements of a fast-paced business

Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite

Team player with strong interpersonal skills

Good command of the English language both written & spoken

A high degree of humility
