The Sr. Bid/Capture Manager (Public Sector) manages the end-to-end process of government pursuits-from RFx opportunity qualification through proposal development and award focusing primarily on Bid development and response for the UK. Key activities include conducting competitive analysis; defining the pursuit strategy and win themes; defining and managing a pursuit plan; assembling a team of experts and proposal development resources; formation of the solution in collaboration with the pursuit team; drafting proposal storyboards; and taking part in content review cycles (Color Teams). The right candidate has the exciting opportunity to create strategies to drive rapid and wide adoption of Indeed for Public Sector agencies.
The candidate should have a background in Government contracting/proposals that enables them to oversee very important compliance and interaction with Legal, and communicate the discriminators of our approach. Candidates must also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about Indeed s mission, products, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions in a written context.

Responsibilities may include formally mentoring new and/or existing team members, onboarding new team members and improving upon internal training process, owning segments of team meetings, coaching team members on specific skills managers are targeting, and actively driving an atmosphere of a well connected & supportive team, fostering a positive collaborative environment
Collaborate with managers and leadership on integral projects and processes to improve organizational productivity, team morale, and cross-team efficiency
Products
Leverage past and working knowledge to provide actionable insights that impact; upcoming product improvements and enhancements, quantitative validation for scaling internal innovations and RFx and sales process improvements
Assume additional responsibilities in addition to standard Bid/Capture Manager RFx duties with an eye towards complex project management, cross-Indeed collaboration among internal and external business partners, and executing against global CSI objectives and key results (OKRs)
Collaborate with the CSI Analytics & Automation, Execution, and Content teams on integral projects and processes to improve scaling of innovations, quality and usage of CSI data platforms, and iterations to existing solutions
Who You Are
Requirements
10+ years of professional work experience in fields such as technology, media, consulting, sales, marketing, etc
5+ years managing proposals in the Public Sector space in the UK or EMEA.
Demonstrated understanding of government/public sector proposal processes in UK/EMEA (Crown Commercial Services, ESPO or similar).
Excellent verbal and written communication, research, and time management skills
Ability to distill and synthesize complex information into cohesive, accurate, and succinct writing
Advanced skills in Microsoft Word; Proficient in PowerPoint
Excellent writing, proofing, and grammar skills
Strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to break down problems and analyze large datasets, preferably within sales or the digital marketing space
Self-directed with the ability to thrive in an unstructured environment; comfortable with ambiguity
Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of practical experience
Desired but not required
Relevant certifications or experience, such as Shipley, APMP, and PMP.
Knowledge of recruiting and talent acquisition industry with proven work experience a plus
Experience with RFx management software such as
Experience with Salesforce and Tableau

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees.
