As Marketing Executive you will be responsible for strengthening the McCain brand in Ireland, and supporting the brand communication team in developing and executing our brand and product media plans across your region. You ll also link in with McCain GB commercial teams to ensure key strategies are applied and executed in ROI, leveraging learnings from GB to develop strong above the line and shopper marketing plans.
There s lots of stuff to get your teeth stuck into. And as Marketing Executive it d be your job to
Create and deliver the Irish above the line media plan and calendar of shopper marketing activation events (in store / out of store / shopper online) and leveraging the insights with the category team.
Manage the marketing relationships our 3rd parties marketing & online teams agreeing annual budget negotiations and ongoing monthly meetings. Ensuring all stakeholders are aware of any upcoming plans - category trials, test stores etc.
Get under the skin of the ROI wider business / customer and product performance to help advise on our annual marketing plans.
Evaluate effectiveness of activity using purchase diagnostics / EPOS data to ensure maximum ROI with each retailer and adjusting future plans accordingly.
Run regular base / promo sales analysis to inform category and sales monthly performance report / pricing and promo strategies.
Create sales and marketing material for the McCain external field sales team adapting & refreshing based on feedback from the field.
What we re looking for
A self-starter. You will need to come brimming with ideas, initiative and drive. You ll know the Irish grocery market and have experience as a Marketing Executive already within FMCG. As well as being really hands on, and results driven you must also be
Able to work autonomously and relish the opportunity to execute with excellence
Build strong relationship with our Irish commercial teams, and work in collaboration with all other functions across our business and external agencies, so interpersonal skills are a must.
Understanding of continuous consumer data sources including EPOS, Shopper Panels, Dunnhumby and Family Food Panel.
A degree within Marketing would be advantageous but we d consider candidates with experience in role too.

Where will I work?
This role is predominantly home based, but we do have a HQ in Dublin. We let you manage your own diary as our culture is based on achieving outcomes, so success will be measured by the objectives you deliver, and not where you re based. Our GB head office is in Scarborough, so there will be some regular travel as well as the odd trip to London to meet with our key agencies
