FRS Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Technical Sales Manager ( Monogastric ) for an established animal nutrition business. This is a full-time permanent role.

My client offers livestock producers, integrators and feed manufacturers a wide range of products and services on animal nutrition, genetics and health. Specialising in tailor-made premixes and concentrates for all species of reproductive animals has seen the business expand in Ireland , UK and other European countries.

Reporting to a Senior Director in the business you will become an important part of the management team.

Duties to include

* Support and develop sales of company’s portfolio.
* Manage and expand customer base building strong relationship with them.
* Provision of technical support to farmers and feed mills.
* Contribution to the company’s R&D program:

* Coordinating on farm nutritional trials and communicating with all stakeholders on the outputs.
* Identifying product improvements or new products or new concepts by remaining up to date on industry trends, market activities and competitors

* Represent the company in conferences, seminars and meetings.
* Attend management meetings
* Represent the business at national & regional agricultural shows.
* Provide top class customer support to customers at all times.

Candidate profile

* 3rd level qualification in agriculture/agri-business.
* Minimum 2-3 year's experience.
* Comprehensive knowledge on monogastric nutrition
* Excellent and effective communication skills.
