A market leader in food distribution is looking for a Business Development Specialist to join their growing World Foods team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food service, a strong understanding of the food industry, experience with profit & loss margins and be fluent in both English and Mandarin.

Responsbilities:

* Consistent delivery of sales, profit and margin targets for your assigned area
* Role modeling and building effective relationships with key customers and stakeholders both internally and externally
* Advocate and drive consistent use of all available system tools
* Maintain and grow the customer base in your assigned area
* Be responsive and flexible to your customers’ needs

Requirements:

* Fluency in Mandarin and English
* In-depth knowledge of the world food market
* Sales experience within the world food foodservice sales market is desirable
* Experience in a restaurant or food service environment with world food knowledge is desirable
* Have a proactive approach to customer needs
* Strong analytical skills and computer literacy
* Full clean B Driving License
* The capability of proving credibility with customers and building strong customer relationships preferred
* Highly motivated and driven to achieve sales targets.
