Your New Company Hays Recruitment have been retained by a large main construction contractor in their recruitment of a Commercial Administrator to provide administrative support to their Quantity Surveying Team. Established for over 60 years, this contractor is a seasoned professional in the construction industry. Known for their innovative and bespoke design and build projects including hospitals, hotels, office facilities, and commercial outlets. Due to continued growth they now have a need to add to their commercial team. Your New Role Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager you will provide a range of administrative services as appropriate to the Commercial Team. Your main responsibilities will include analysing sub-contractor weekly and monthly applications for payment, in liaison with Quantity Surveyors, responding to enquiries and other administrative tasks. What you need to succeed You will be degree educated or similar, preferably stemming from a construction related discipline. You will have excellent IT skills, to include experience of working with the Microsoft Office Suite. The ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast and dynamic environment is a necessity.
