With a growing client base and increasing projects, we have a great opportunity for a Sales Engineer to join our team and become part of our rapid growth.
We are looking for self-driven and results oriented individual that possesses a mix of sales and technical knowledge with a keen interest to learn and grow within the business. The individual will be responsible for managing our existing customer base and growing the business through new opportunities in Munster and surrounding counties.
You will be reporting directly to the Managing Director and be responsible for the total sales function and technical support in your territory.
Drive and execute monthly and annual sales targets & report to management on sales progress
Account manage and upsell to existing customer base
Plan and execute presentations and demonstrations of technical products in the field, at tradeshows, seminars and boardroom
Responsible for driving sales through links with industry partners and participating resellers
Generate new business through coordination with marketing campaigns and customer calling
Provide extensive after sales service to existing customer base
Promote aftersales of spare parts and service contracts in responsible territory
Provide technical assistance and advise to customers before, during and after the sales process
Experience with pump or pump related applications specific to the industrial/municipal industry
Studies in Mechanical Engineering or practical experience
A successful sales career with an emphasis on industrial sales of pumps to OEMs, distributors and end users a distinct advantage
Proven sales background from inception to technical sell and aftercare service
Highly proficient with Windows based computers and Microsoft Office products (primarily Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
Strong interpersonal skills, with a positive outlook, high confidence and self-motivated
Excellent customer service and communication skills to manage and grow senior accounts
Must be willing to travel continuously throughout territory, some tradeshows involved
Full clean driving license required
