We are partnering with our Client to source a Head of IT Sales for their expanding managed services division based in Limerick. This position will report directly to the Group Sales Director.

The current client based is a blend of public and private (Enterprise and mid-tier) organisations located across the island of Ireland. The company is noted for the quality of the service they deliver and their ability to provide innovative technology solutions to their Clients requirements.

Key activities include:

Directing the focus of the Client Account Management Team through the identification and execution of appropriate Retention and Development activities.
Directing the focus of the Business Development Team through the identification and execution of appropriate Client Acquisition activities.
Influencing Marketing activities to ensure that the sales teams have the necessary supports to achieve their sales goals.
Optimising client account management processes by tiering both the clients and the associated management activities and by developing a client-service matrix to identify opportunities.
Reporting, pipeline management, planning, and projecting.
The Head of IT Sales has responsibility for achieving all IT Sales Targets and is rewarded based on performance against these targets. Experience Required

Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Senior Sales Management position.
Proven experience of leading a large sales team.
In-depth experience of planning and implementing sales strategies in a services industry (IT Services industry experience would be advantageous).
Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a deadline-driven work environment.
Ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
Strong leadership skills that inspire and motivate a team to achieve successful results.
Strong commercial and negotiation skills with a proven ability to influence others.
Strength in collaborative problem solving and issue-resolution.
Extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices
Experience in the use of CRM and pipeline management
