Role: Technical Sales Representative – Construction Sector
Our clients wish to recruit a commercial person for the role of Technical Sales
Representative for the Facades, Partitions & Doors (FPD) Division within the Group.
Our client is a widely diversified company offering products and services within the
construction sector. A vacancy has arisen within our Facades, Partitions & Doors Division
(FPD) for the position of Technical Sales Representative. This represents an exciting
opportunity for a dynamic individual to join the existing FPD team within the Group.
The Role
The successful candidate will join the existing Sales Team to promote and sell the FPD
product range. Product range includes Architectural Glazing Systems, Internal Glazing
Systems for Screens and Partitions, Metal Door & Timber Door Systems.
Working within the various market segments within construction such as Commercial Office
& Retail Developments, Residential Developments, Industrial & Pharmaceutical
Developments, Data Centres, Educational and Healthcare Sectors.
Through being proactive in the market you will identity opportunities with main contractors and architects for the promotion and sale of the groups products.
Participate in weekly and monthly sales meetings along with the Sales Team monitoring and
tracking progress on sales opportunities.
Identify manage and communicate to any new clients an awareness of all our product
offerings and maintain accurate customer information for your area of responsibility.
Skills & Attributes Required
• An understanding of the workings of Construction Sector from cradle to grave.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communications skills.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Ability to work on own initiative, generating leads and converting opportunities into sales
• revenue.
• Ability to work to agreed Business Plans.
