Excellent opportunity with an expanding Logistics company specialising in Air, Sea and Road Freight.
This is a permanent position for a Sales Representative covering Cork. The successful candidate will be responsible for the sales growth and profitability throughout the region. They will report to the Managing Director and will be tasked to reach set objectives, implement sales plans and drive current sales within the area.
Key responsibilities will include the following:
* To identify opportunities within the designated sales area for Company services and utilise tactical sales plans in accordance with Company sales strategies, to maximise revenue, profit and company image.
* To represent the company and its services to customers and to develop strong relationships with key clients.
* To liaise with extensive network of overseas agents as well as local partners.
* Generate leads and convert to new business as per replenishment target.
* To assist in the provision of realistic forecasts to the Sales Management team to ensure continuity of service supply.
* Lead the sales team to ensure maximum performance
* Manage key relationships at all levels
The Candidate:
Applications are invited from candidates who meet the following criteria:
* Working knowledge of logistics / Air, Sea & Road Freight is essential for this role
* Minimum of 3-4 years sales representative experience with a proven track record
* Experienced in delivering results within a targeted environment
* Good commercial knowledge of Cork market
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Driven and motivated to achieve sales and create new business
* Clean driving licence
* Problem solving and analytical skills
