Inside Sales Executive

The Role – Telesales Executive
Reporting to the Divisional Sales Manager, this role will actively help maximise sales revenue, GP levels and market share for the brands required, as well as carrying out associate duties on an ongoing basis which will add value and facilitate necessary growth.

The role will suit individuals who display high energy, are flexible, enthusiastic, confident and thrive on working on their own initiative. The candidate will also have the potential to develop personally towards a position which holds more responsibility and career opportunity within company.

Key Responsibilities

* Sell all assigned products/brands working towards achieving, maintaining and maximising agreed gross profit figures on an ongoing basis
* Maximise company’s market share for the brands/products necessary
* Reach and exceed the call targets set, ensuring that strong customer relationships are developed and maintained to maximise sales while continuing to build brand profile
* Ensure that advantageous vendor relationships are developed and maintained as necessary
* Take full responsibility for and management of the necessary allocated accounts ensuring at all times that the needs of the business are a foremost consideration
* Help implement marketing and call out campaigns as required
* Ensure all necessary administration and associated duties are completed in a timely and efficient manner
* Participate in all necessary training and development activity within the 32 counties or when necessary overseas
* Support and coordinate with the various Sales and Finance Departments as required
* Quickly gaining a detailed understanding of the Sharptext service and product offerings will be essential

The Person

* An experienced proactive telesales/account management professional with 2-4 years of such experience, preferably in the IT distribution sector with a proven track record in achieving sales targets
* Proven commercial acumen/awareness
* Ability to multi-task without losing focus
* Very strong communication and influencing skills, specifically with regard to telephone manner and in relation to interfacing with current and prospective customers and other departments
* Results driven with high levels of drive and energy and the ability to work on own initiative
* Ability to balance working on your own and as part of a team in a pressurised environment to demanding objectives
* Proven ability to manage accounts and develop new business opportunities

* Ability to build relationships to support team members, share resources and knowledge and collaborate with others to achieve goals
* General computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
* Have the highest levels of integrity in the successful completion of your work
