A leading global software company are currently on the market for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their well established and expanding sales team. They are well established within their industry and are offering huge career growth potential and a superb remuneration package. The organisation is looking to hire a dynamic Business Development Manager who will have both a sales and software background – preferably selling technical software / solutions.
Within the role, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for selling a number of software solutions across a wide range of markets including the financial sector and the IT/Telecoms space. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new avenues for the business – securing new accounts whilst also maintain current business.
You will work closely alongside the sales team – ensuring maximum potential growth can be secured for the company whilst also developing current opportunities. Strong product knowledge is essential within the role – so a technical software selling background is essential. Knowledge of .net / Java and various other software solutions is required. This is a sales role, so it is vital that the Business Development Manager meets and exceeds targets and generates new business avenues for the company.
To be successful you must possess the following:
Minimum 5 years + within technical / solution sales
Previous business development experience is essential
A proven track record in sales
Excellent communication and leadership skills
A great understanding of the solution software industry
