Marketing Manager - EMEA

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Marketing Manager to join a multinational technological company based in Limerick.

• Creation and development of all marketing material to support lead generation and the building of the company brand across EMEA.

• Development of a marketing lead generation programme to support field based technical sales managers across EMEA.

• Management of a team of 4 staff – 3 Customer Relationship Marketing Co-ordinators and a Graphic Designer.

• Management of web content and promotion in conjunction with the web programmer based in Head Office.

• Development of a coherent digital media strategy and management of the ongoing execution across all digital platforms.

• Involvement in strategic management projects on an ad hoc basis when required including liaising with the engineering team in Limerick and external consortium partners.

• Development of annual marketing budget & plan and ongoing reporting on the forecast for marketing spend on a monthly basis.

• Weekly and quarterly marketing reports for senior management including ROI and lead generation reviews.

• Creating and issuing press releases and managing press relations for events and product launches.

• Managing attendance and organising workshops, exhibitions and congresses in total around 26 per year across EMEA.

• Development and management of annual webinar series including hosting, promoting and reporting on success of activity.

• Compile a competitor analysis and make marketing action recommendations based on the information provided.

The Person
Excellent interpersonal skills able to communicate at all levels within an organisation.

An enthusiastic self starter, able to use their own initiative and drive and manage projects to their conclusion.

A clear ability to develop strong working relationships across multi-functional teams.

Goal and results oriented with strong negotiation skills and a desire to succeed.

• Previous management of a team of 5 or more people.

• Demonstrable experience in lead generation, CRM, digital marketing and development of print and other marketing collateral materials.

• Experience managing the support of field based sales staff in multiple regions.

• Experience in technical product marketing, medical device marketing or software background.

• Strong mathematical and data analysis and research skills to transform data into insights and actions.

• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Willingness to travel and work outside normal office hours when required.

Desirable

A second language is desirable, Russian, German or French strongly preferred.

A marketing qualification CIM or Degree or an engineering/scientific background.
