Senior Fundraiser for the Charity Sector - Limerick City

The Senior Fundraiser will increase the contributions of individuals and groups to the Charity by building relationships and exploring new fundraising opportunities from various sources while working to raise awareness of the charity's work, aims and goals.
Responsibilities:
Develop and Implement a fundraising strategy and set priorities, goals and budgets.
Deliver the funds required by the organisation for it to operate and implement its Service Plan.
Motivating and facilitating supporters/volunteers to maximise the funds that they raise while inspiring new supporters to raise money.
Recruiting, organising and managing volunteers to carry out various functions within the charity.
To devise, co-ordinate, organise and deliver an annual calendar of revenue generating fundraising activities.
Develop new and imaginative fundraising activities, many of which involve organising events and developing web-based fundraising.
Writing proposals to obtain grants and sending mail shots to potential and current donors.
Making risk analyses and balancing time-cost ratios to focus effort on the most appropriate fundraising activities with he highest chance of success.
To provide monthly written reports on fundraising to the Board of Directors.
Successful candidate:
3 years experience in a similar role with a proven track record of success and established contacts.
Energetic, creative and fun when it comes to bringing life to fundraising campaigns.
Competitive style with a focus on maximising opportunities to reach the charity goals.
Ability to network and grow genuine relationships between the charity and other stakeholders.
