The Role
Reporting to the International Marketing & Sales Manager, you will make a valuable contribution to the achievement of the group sales and marketing strategic goals. You will be responsible for the identification, prospecting, nurturing and conversion of new business in the UK and Ireland.

Key Business Development Activities
- Attending events and developing personal relationships with key decision makers
- Consultative led opportunity and pipeline development with support from marketing
- Daily sales calling to secure one to one meetings with technology support specialists
- Weekly and Monthly KPI reporting to the Management team
- Presenting and Persuading at Pre Sales & Sales One to One Meetings
- Identifying Public Sector opportunities and completing Pre Tender preparations
- Providing assistance on large scale national bids and completing bids for regional opportunities
- Updating opensky CRM system
- Working in partnership with Marketing to co create opportunities
- Developing a core network of CIO’s in Ireland and the UK
- Contributing to the development of core messaging and the sales strategy

- The ability to listen, understand and translate prospect and customer business challenges and requirements
- The ability to enter into a consultative dialogue on how best to overcome clients IT challenges with openskys suite of Software Services
- Ability to choose the right services and people in opensky to progress an opportunity
- The ability to self-manage a sales pipeline with organisational support for target achievement
- Enjoys working as part of a collaborative team, where each team member bring a strength to the client solution and is focused on team goals
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate passion in the opensky brand and confidence in the services we offer to engender interest trust and loyalty
- Fundamental planning, cost management and project management skills (prioritisation, organisation and time management key)
- Ability to contribute thought leaderships content on Social Media
- Strong leadership qualities with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- French speaking is a plus
Experience
- Relevant 3rd level sales qualification OR Working in a sales / marketing role for 5+ years at Senior level
- Experience in Software sales in the Public and Private Sector
- Bid Preparation & International Selling Experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft technologies
- Experience in coordinating proposition development efforts including business cases
Personal Traits
- Must enjoy the progression of a complex buying organisation from cold lead to ultimate sale
- Enjoys working and sharing credit as a team for successes
- Target driven with a keen instinct for selecting opportunities to develop
- Confident and passionate about software is a plus

The Package
Avoid the traffic! Based in Naas, Co Kildare. Fully serviced by public transport with 2 mins walk to office.
Working hours: 9.00 to 5.30pm with International Travel required (10-20%)
Attractive salary – negotiated on experience with target driven bonus paid bi monthly, commission draw for first month, laptop, phone, Pension, VHI and Flexible working conditions. OTE: Approx €90,000
