Abrivia Recruitment have an excellent opportunity for an Events Assistant with a leading Retail Organisation who are Number 1 in Ireland.

Our Client are a leading worldwide company who are performing extremely well in the marketplace and they are looking to find the best people on the market to join their growing team. They are looking to add an additional 20 stores in the next 2 years and have undergone huge growth in the last couple of years.( For this role you will be working on small scale events such as local sporting/charity events to huge Retail conferences and massitve events like the ploughing championships which attract 200,000 people every year.)

For this role Events experience and having a strong track record of organizing small to large Events is a pre-requisite for this role. Attention to detail and passion and motivation is key for this role. Equally you will gain invaluable experience with a fantastic Number 1 company who have offices worldwide.

Essential Experience and Skill Sets

* A proven track record of events management and industry experience is required
* Evidence of creativity, management of proposed idea/brief/mood boards along a critical path to event completion
* Experience of conflict resolution/crisis management in a previous role
* Experience of working to a strict budget / cost management experience
* Knowledge and interest in advertising that extends beyond the scope of their role
* Commercially minded and conscious of the impact that their work has on the wider business
* Experience in a busy, deadline driven environment
* Prior experience working with 3rd party agencies
* Prior experience of working in a team environment
* Polite and professional manner
* Examples of a systematic work ethic
* Impeccable attention to detail.
* Excellent written and verbal communication and administration skills
* Proficient IT skills
* Full drivers licence

Key Requirements

* Marketing qualification preferred
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* PR and New Social Media skills/experience is advantageous.
