Key Responsibilities
* Create and drive new revenue streams with particular focus on selling supplements and features within their portfolio of publications and multiple websites
* Work closely with editorial team to create content platforms
* Establish prospect lists
* Target both regular press spenders plus non-traditional press spenders
* Knowledge of market intelligence and competitive analysis
* Develop creative advertising proposals within our newspaper group for agencies/clients
* Selling both print and online advertising
* Face to face client contact
* Plan a monthly sales cycle to key prospects
* Plan, negotiate and close sponsorship deals
* Wider involvement within the overall sales dept - attend weekly team meeting and weekly idea’s session
Key Requirements
* 3-4 sales/ business development experience
* Must be highly motivated and a real "hunter" in terms of Business Development.
The salary range is from early €30,000 to €40,000 and it comes with a Bonus of up to €15,000, pension and car.
