They currently purchase for a range of hotels in the 3, 4 and 5 star category as well as properties in the nursing home, golf club, coffee shop & restaurant sectors.The business has experienced tremendous growth and due to this growth they are currently restructuring the business.

Our client are currently recruiting a Business Development Manager to target the West of Ireland.

Role: As a member of the Sales team, you will responsible for the development of your current customer base and to secure new key volume business

Qualifications and Preferable Experience:
▪ Strong experience in dealing with senior executives in Hospitality or Healthcare
▪ Ability to manage procurement sales engagements through the full sales cycle supported by a proven track record in sales in the hospitality / healthcare sector.

▪ Strong attention to detail with a high level of analytical ability
▪ Advanced computer skills in MS Excel
▪ Skilled negotiator
▪ Clear communication skills
▪ 5 Years sales experience in B2B selling
▪ Demonstrable track record in meeting and beating sales targets and KPIs
▪ Experience in key account management and relationship management
▪ Ability to work as part of a strong team in a high performance environment
▪ Degree or equivalent experience

Principle Responsibilities:
Sales:
▪ To strategically target all hospitality and healthcare market segments for business
▪ To ensure all administration work is completed correctly and in a timely fashion
▪ To maximise on all sales and referral leads
▪ Ensure Budget Performance Targets are met
▪ Increase sales volume and profitability by securing new key volume business accounts while maintaining and developing present client base.
▪ Ensures that your territory achieves the overall budgeted sales and profit margins by increasing supplier participation with your current customer base and developing new business with new accounts
▪ Identify , evaluate and prioritise your new business prospects
▪ To review lost business report monthly and follow up as needed.
▪ Promoting First Choice Purchasing at every opportunity, creating collateral and PR opportunities to achieve this
▪ To plan and implement your Sales Plan in line with your Sales Manager
▪ To compile weekly and monthly sales report for the Sales Manager

Remuneration:
The base salary is mid to late thirties. The commission plan is uncapped and it is expected that actual earnings are €75k OTE in year one. A €600 car allowance plus fuel card is offered.
