CBG.ie – (CarBuyersGuide.ie) - Digital Sales Executive

CBG.ie is Irelands longest established car website with 16 years’ experience servicing the car industry.

Due to a planned re investment in 2013, we are looking to capitalise on an industry uplift by creating a high performance team of Digital Sales Executives who will take a defined number of accounts and grow revenue through a structured account management process. With traffic of 400,000 unique users a month, CBG.ie is perfectly positioned to gain increased revenue and market share.

This is a great opportunity for a talented online sales executive looking to develop their career with a highly successful company. CBG.ie is now looking to recruit an experienced, ambitious online Digital Sales Executive to join the current CBG.ie sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reporting directly to the Digital Commercial Manager the successful candidate will be expected to deliver and perform on the following;

• Grow revenue from managing existing online advertising clients – Car dealers; Motor Industry related advertisers and 3rd party trade partners.

• Development of client accounts through delivering excellence in an account management process, providing a solution sell through a consultative sale process.

• Deliver value messages to clients by developing compelling commercial statements from the KPI’s delivered on their listings and campaigns on CBG.ie.

• Achieve and exceed sales targets – Gain support from dealers and advertisers through subscriptions and grow dealer spend by up selling online solutions to match clients advertising requirements.

• Ability and proven track record of targeting and closing new business. Develop a targeted pipeline of business and identify opportunities by analysis and research into a defined list of accounts.

• Ability to come up with new online sales concepts/packages – Complete competitor analysis and report to the DCM on market changes and trends.

• Update and manage account details through backend CRM system to ensure correct client listing. Continuous QC of website listings


What we’re looking for:

• Experienced knowledge of Digital media and ad serving technology – CRM and website backend experience.

• Outstanding communication skills and excellent client focused attitude – Ability to create rapport with clients.

• Be driven by targets and have a demonstrable track record in achieving sale targets

• Passion to succeed and tenacious attitude to securing a sale

• Attention to detail in delivery of agreed components of the sale - strong after sales attitude to secure repeat business from current clients.

• Ability to work as part of a driven team – positive can do attitude.

• Highly organised with strong time management skills

• Forward thinking and work well under pressure – always striving to be at their best
